Lipsynch
Emma and I created this video on Final Cut. We were given clips from an old student music video, in which we were to put together. This was to help us understand how to Lip Synch. Emma and I both thought it would be a very hard task, as it looked complicated. However after we got started we found it quite easy to do. We were given the original sound track and clips of the video the girls created (with background music). We had to match the original soundtrack up to the girl lip singing, this is why it was very important that there was background music on the girls set. On Final Cut Em and I made sure we could see the sound waves, in which showed us a prominent note in the music. In this case it was on the note "Ooh", when we worked this out we placed a market on both lines of were the note was. We then moved the original track to were the point was on the background music, this insured that the movement of the girls mouth would move when the lyrics were sung. For mine and Em's first time using this technique i think we did quite well, however you can see we did not get the music in the exact place as the movement of the mouth is off slightly to the music.
